The Visionary Founder
Our journey begins with Gerthann Stalcupy, a passionate technologist with a dream. Born in a small town, Gerthann’s fascination with technology started early, fueled by his first computer, a hand-me-down that sparked his curiosity. His formal education in Computer Science laid the foundation for a career marked bay innovation and excellence. With a vision to create a space where technology enthusiasts could come together to learn, innovate, and collaborate, Gerthann founded Your G Tech Colony in 2018.
The Early Days
In 2018, Your G Tech Colony opened its doors at 3626 Finwood Road in Piscataway, NJ. The initial setup was modest, but the vision was grand. The aim was to create a community where tech professionals, enthusiasts, and novices could connect and grow. The first few months were focused on establishing a solid foundation—creating programs, building a team, and reaching out to the local tech community.
Building a Community
The first major milestone came with the launch of our initial series of coding bootcamps and digital lifestyle workshops. These programs were met with enthusiasm, quickly attracting a diverse group of participants. Word spread, and soon, Your G Tech Colony became known as a place where anyone with a passion for technology could find support, resources, and inspiration. Our community events, such as:

As our community grew, so did our offerings. We introduced advanced courses in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and blockchain. These courses attracted tech professionals looking to stay ahead of the curve and expand their skill sets. Our design and UX/UI courses became popular among creatives, further diversifying our community. In response to the growing interest, we expanded our facilities, adding state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated spaces for different activities. This expansion allowed us to host larger events and accommodate more participants in our programs.
