They care what changes for them.
Step one: pick one feature tied to your next three sessions. Not five. Not two.
One. If you try to use all of them, you’ll sound rehearsed and confused. (I’ve been there.)
Step two: write two or three open-ended questions. Not “How was your HRV?”
But “Your recovery score dropped yesterday (what) shifted in sleep or food?”
Plain language sticks. Jargon slides right off.
Step three: say those questions out loud. Once. Twice.
Three times. Hear how they land. Cut anything that sounds like a robot reading a manual.
Step four: block 90 seconds before each session. Look only at metric shifts >15% from baseline. Ignore the rest.
That’s where the real conversation starts.
Step five: log one observation per session. Not data. Not screenshots.
Just tone. Depth. Silence.
Laughter. Did the update make them lean in? Or check their phone?
